LIMITED SPRINTCARS Of WA

The LSA was formed in 1986 by a handful of drivers wanting the option of racing a less expensive division of sprintcars.

The specifications introduced at the time were fairly simple:  320cu carburetted motors, with Toyota diffs.  Chassis were steel and rims were steel.

20 years later the division is still based on the premise of being less expensive than other sprintcar divisions.  Due to lack of availability of 307cu engine blocks the engine capacity was increased to 350cu, carburetted

Limiteds are sprintcars with restricted engine specifications. Chassis are now mostly factory produced and within the division are Maxims, Gamblers, Cool Chassis, and J&J’s.  A weight rule has been introduced where all registered cars must comply to a combined weight (car and driver) of 16250lbs and cars are weighed after the completion of the feature race.
